The Voyles family history originated in Wales with Idwal Foel, King of Gwynedd from 878 to 916.  In early Wales, the name Foel was pronounced "Voel."   The spelling of name evolved over time from Foel to Voel to Voyle to Volyes.  Our family migrated to America in 1759 and Jerry Voyles represents the 7th generation since the family landed in Charleston, South Carolina.  

Jerry has been actively involved in the radio, television, advertising and production business since 1969.  His broadcast resume includes WAQY, WACT, KILT, WSM, WKXX and WYDE.   His advertising and marketing projects span four decades..

J Voyles Productions was founded in 1973 and V Star Enterprises in 1982.  In 2001, Jerry created River Oaks Films to produce independent films.  Jerry has created and produced over 3,300 projects.  From creating and implementing basic advertising plans to producing, directing and writing feature films and television projects, Jerry completes every project on time and on budget.  To relax, Jerry enjoys flying and road trip adventures.  Do you remember Bachelor's Three?   Bachelor's Three photo.
